Revealed today: the cover for Ella's Journey by Lynne Francis, the first in her WW1 saga trilogy The Mill Valley Girls. The book will be published by HarperCollins/Avon on 5th October - not long to wait!

We are delighted to announce a 2-book deal with HarperCollins UK for debut women's fiction author Judy Leigh. The first book, Evie Gallagher's Last Hurrah, will be published by Avon in March 2018. The German language edition will be published at the same time by HarperCollins Germany.

After presenting it at the London Book Fair last week, we are delighted to announce that German language rights in the debut commercial women's fiction novel by Judy Leigh have been snapped up by HarperCollins Germany.

Lynne Francis has signed a 3-book contract with HarperCollins/Avon for The Mill Valley Girls, a saga set in Yorkshire at the turn of the 20th century. They will publish the first book, Ella's Journey, in October.

Fantastic news that Sainsbury's will be selling Meet Me At Wisteria Cottage by Teresa F. Morgan in 500 stores across the UK from late April. It's the perfect summer read, and just the sort of thing shoppers will be adding to their baskets along with sun cream, Prosecco and other summer necessities.

There was an excellent turnout for the launch party for The Nearness of You by Sareeta Domingo, held at Picturehouse Central Cinema, Piccadilly. Sareeta read extracts from her novel and answered questions in a Q&A session with Shades Of magazine. Jazz singer Vimala Rowe delighted the crowd with her rendition of the novel's title song. Waterstones ran a book stall and sold around 50 copies of the book!
