Georgina Stewart grew up in Oxford, and, inevitably fascinated by the Inspector Morse stories, developed a keen interest in crime fiction. After studying History at the University of Cambridge, specialising in medieval Europe, and a spell of work, she then spent a year living on the Slovenian coast. It was here that she wrote the first draft of what would become Death on the Adriatic, the start of a series featuring Detective Inspector Petra Vidmar. When not writing, she likes ruined castles, baking, and walking in the mountains.
She is published by Constable, and is represented by Kiran Kataria.
