Helen Fripp

Helen Fripp writes fiction about women in the past who have achieved greatness against the odds. She has a BA in French, an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University, and has lived and worked in France where much of her work so far has been set.

Her first novel, the highly-acclaimed The French House, takes as inspiration the legendary 'Veuve Cliquot' who gave her name to a famous champagne house and weaves a compelling tale of a woman battling tradition and custom to succeed in a masculine arena.   Her first four books are available from Bookouture.

Helen lives in Bath.
